Turkey was in many respects a „special case“
One can argue whether it belongs to Europe or not. It is an almost 100% Muslim country. Despite having a number of contacts over a long period of time, no-one was prepared to receive us and help us. It was the 50th. and last country on our European odyssey. Of course, God finally opened a door to a church which was prepared to receive us. In order to protect our brothers and sisters we cannot name any names. For us it was also very special that this church was founded by a Swiss national.
Since we started this task, we have often been asked what about the rest of the world.
Shouldn’t every country hear this message the trumpet blowing initiative brings? We have treated this as a serious question and asked God for wisdom and guidance. HIS answer is:
We should blow the trumpets on every continent, from the north, south, east and west.
The order in which it should be done is not important.
Since the beginning of this year, it has become clear to us why Turkey was the last European country in which we should blow the trumpets. The greatest part of the country belongs to the continent of Asia! Therefore, Turkey is the most western part of Asia.
So God gave us, on the same day, the wonderful opportuniy to complete the European task and start with the next; the continents of the world. That is why on this memorable day, we blew the trumpets twice ! God’s wake-up call is going out from Switzerland via Europe into the whole world!
